Rose is a vibrant, outgoing, and energetic sixteen year old who loves her family and friends. She is enthusiastic about dancing competitively and has a big heart for shelter animals. Rose is a junior in high school and has plans to go to college after graduation, hoping to become a certified preschool teacher.
In June of 2025, Rose became seriously ill. Her family provided at-home care but this did not seem to improve her condition, and when she started vomiting blood she was taken to the ER. Rose's life changed dramatically that day, even though she didn't know it at the time.
After months of tests and hospitalizations, and after hearing "this is an abnormal result" and "this is such a rare occurrence" too often, Rose was finally diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer in October of 2025.
We are sharing Rose's experiences as a way to narrate and record her journey. We hope that friends and family can use this website as a focal point for information, but we also want to encourage and inspire others who may be struggling with their own diagnosis. If this website reaches you and you find information that can help you on your own medical journey, we welcome you here.
